Dr. Joseph Bresee is the Director of the Partnership for International Vaccine Initiatives (PIVI) at The Task Force for Global Health (TFGH), a global health nonprofit working with partners in more than 150 countries so that all people can achieve their full potential. His work at PIVI focuses on strengthening global respiratory virus prevention and pandemic preparedness in low- and middle-income countries. In addition to authoring more than 300 peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters, he also regularly participates in national and international meetings and technical groups on immunization and influenza. Dr. Bresee has been featured in publications including The New York Times, USA Today, Parade, The Lancet, Devex, Scientific American and others.
